She grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Los Angeles after college, where she worked as a character artist on The Simpsons for over a decade. She is the author and illustrator of more than 15 books, including the Rory the Dinosaur series, The Little World of Liz Climo collection, and You're Mom.
